-- Please don't be late to your appointment
​-- We're a small home studio and can't accommodate an entourage. If you bring an escort, it's considerate if they step out for the session. There are plenty of coffee shops nearby!
-- Music? Yes! We love when our clients bring music playlists to the studio. Whatever will get you into a
mood/zone/character. Share a Spotify playlist with us! It's one of the most successful ways to get out of your head and
into the shoot.
-- Eat before the shoot! No matter what style of shoot, it will require a lot of energy. Nerves on top of an empty stomach is a bad mix. You're welcome to bring snacks.
Payment and receiving your images
-- In order to secure your booking, we require a non-refundable $50 deposit, so be certain you can make it!
-- We accept cash, Venmo or transfer. We also accept payment plans.
-- If you're on a payment plan, you will receive the images on receipt of your final payment.
-- Make sure you have a Google Drive set up to receive your images. If you have a Gmail you have a Google Drive.

Hair and makeup
DIY
It's your choice! If you want to keep the cost down and arrive with your own hair and makeup done, we trust you-just make sure you present yourself as you would in a typical audition. Make sure to bring your own foundation and mascara to the shoot for re- application and touch ups.
-- We advise a natural lip colour unless you wear red/pink to auditions, and avoid any products with glitter!
ADD ON
If you require professional hair and makeup, we offer it for a $50 add on. We provide all products with the exception of foundation and mascara: please bring your own foundation and mascara for us to apply.
-- Make sure you arrive fresh faced, with dry hair ready to style.
-- Contact us ahead of time if you have any allergies or sensitivities.
Outfits
-- Bring options.
-- The general guideline for headshots is not to wear anything that draws focus from your face, like patterns, strange or busy necklines and jewelry.
-- It's recommended you go for colours that compliment your skin tone and avoid black and white. However rules are allowed to be broken if you feel strongly about an outfit and it compliments you well.
-- Please avoid spaghetti straps or very low/strapless necklines. Ensure if you wear a bra it doesn't show.
​-- Have any facial hair at the length it will be for auditions.
​ Duration
If you don't require hair and makeup, plan for the shoot to take 2.5 hours for a single-look session.
If you do require hair and makeup, plan for the shoot to take 3.5 hours for a single-look session.

-- If you'll be showing skin in the session, come to the shoot in loose clothes that won't leave imprints on the skin.
